Guide how to make it:
1. Make a layer of the image you want to make look like it's made of gold

2. Make a new layer on top of it and fill it with gold color

3. Go to filters -> noise -> add noise and use these settings (or what ever settings you like more; maybe more noise would be better than what I used)

4. Duplicate the gun layer and move it on top of everything and hide it
5. Hold alt and click between (arrow) the bottom gun layer and gold layer then it looks like this

6. Now change the top gun layer opacity to something around 73% and change the layer style to linear light or bright light (usually better), depending on the pic

And the result should look like this
