Every time I walk into a convenience store with a lotto machine there is always at least one guy gambling hundreds of dollars on scratch off games. It's amazing how easily people acquiesced to the state run monopoly of gambling simply because they promised to spend the profits on education (they don't). i worked in a place that made 10k in number sales(pick 3, 4, mega millions etc) and 5k in scratch offs a day. you would be surprised how easily people can burn through their rent money, and then go to the ATM to withdraw some more money.Macbeth wrote:
