The word 'history' is unrelated to gendered pronouns. Don't you preclude yourself from interest in the herstory neologism, dilbert? Being uninterested in history and all.
Thats your opinion, History is mostly opinion.
Vast oversimplification from the man who read maybe three books on WW2, otherwise not caring for history at all. "Let the past be in the past!"
@mac, I don't think being held back is usually a life or death situation. But you're still the guy with the teaching degree. I'm sure they covered problem students in teaching college. It's your judgement call.
I will surmise that passing failing students will probably have a negative impact on the accuracy of your data, but who am I to tell you not to lie to yourself and everyone else.
In your professional opinion in having worked both fields: are there any parallels between sending a failed student ahead of where they should be, and sending a broken car back on the road?
