I agree. HL1 really looks awkward on Source. It's more of a gee-whiz kind of thing.

Though I have to say, L4D2's added weapons and utilities really improve the game imo, the new special infected can be annoying as fuck though, but they are not "bad".

Both L4D's are wholly average and I dont see how they get so much acclaim. Especially for a developer like Valve, they just do nothing new at all.

Not only is it slow, it also rarely shows the same servers per individual, meaning you will sometimes have a VERY hard time playing with your friends since they can't join you through steam because the server is apparently "not responding" or some other similar crapRTHKI wrote:

I wanted to try the newly added weapons and skins in Killing Floor, but apparently I'm down to not getting any servers in the browser at all.
They only ones that work are the ones I added as favourites months ago.

For a few months L4D was unique and brilliant. Unfortunately Valve prematurely killed it off with the announcement of it's lackluster sequel, and the huge fundamental problems of it's lopsided VS mode were never addressed.
Let's be honest here, the sequel should have been an expansion to the base game. Not a new game.Spidery_Yoda wrote:
