Looks more like my hockey stick than my cricket bat. Who the fuck sanctioned that thing legal?Mekstizzle wrote:
Woah, check out that bat that Hayden was using today in the IPL. The handle is about the same size as the batting bit.
Apparently it's called a Mongoose bat:

He was smacking the ball around like silly with that
Day/Night tests but really I don't see the point. Test matches are fine, the only reason people won't come to tests is if the quality of play is shit or boring. So get teams to play better and make the pitches bouncier. Simple.1927 wrote:

The article reckons the opening game of this years season will be played under floodlights. Why?
Who you playing? Hurry up and wrap it up so w/e is missing from the IPL can hot foot it over there.Spark wrote:

Sadface at the two Clarke dismissals in this test. I've not seen him in such astonishingly good form in aaages. I mean, Katich and North are good but not the most elegant to watch...

We were playing NZ. But tbh most of our better players either don't give a fuck about t20 (ponting, katich etc.) or don't give a fuck about ipl (clarke, mitch, etc.) to be honest i think watson, bollinger as a last-min replacement, harris are playing ipl but no one else.1927 wrote:

aaaah i love cricinfo commentaryBopara to bowl his Chris Harrisesque dibbly dobblies now
7.2 Bopara to Ganguly, OUT, and Bopara gets a typical Harris dismissal here, 115ks, stopping at Ganguly, and a fine low return catch by Bopara. Eat your heart out, Harry

A few years back I got so pissed off with yorkers and full balls generally that I decided to take guard a metre outside the crease. Smashed the first two over his head (which is easily the best shot one can play, makes you feel good), missed the next one, left the next one, nicked the next one.eskimo_sammyjoe wrote:
Lovin them yorkers, nothing's sweeter than beating the batsman all ends up with one.

Not bad.
