OK today i installed 1.41 and after it was done downloading it said 100% complete and exited by itself then i run bf2 and go on a server but it says you are running older version then i re boot my compter and same thing happens..and the second download thing didint pop up on my desktop so can any1 here help me, like is there a thing where i can check all the newly downloaded things? yes i got it from EA website 1+ for any1 who helps
It exited by itself (when DL's finish they do this, unless you change that setting), but I don't read anywhere where it says that you double clicked on the DL file (the patch). So yea, you have to double click on the file. Also check if the server is already patched, because if it doesn't then you won't be able to login in that particular server.MT_Androo wrote:

You can also perform a search in your comp for the archive that you DL. Just put in the search field the name of the file. If it finds it, then double click on it and let it patch your game.
