Worked that way for me... Make sure you load up a single player mission, just to tune it in.

I bought a joystick for the game, seems kinda poopy for me.

I was thinking about buying on of those playstation style game controllers for better control...
Anybody out there think thats a great idea or have one and love it???

I use a Saitek Cyborg Evo and I'm very happy with it (well after designing and getting used to my own button layout). I thought about trying to use my PS2 style control but I don't think it has enough buttons. Mine only has 12 buttons (4 face buttons, 4 shoulder buttons, and both sticks click down, plus the start select buttons). With my Cyborg Evo (left hand) and MX1000 (right hand) I have 20 buttons useable at all times (even under heavy fire) plus 4 on the base of the joystick. Installing the joystick was easy just installed the drivers and set everything through BF2. MX1000 I used UberOptions to set all the buttons to BF2's default.
