Forgot to add that www.gamecopyworld.com has a mini-image and crack for almost every game out there.

I don't need a crack, it's like bf2. it works fine with mini-image only. just find the right image file
- bf2142 has kind of "blacklist" of image files so most of them don't work cuz of the protection (maybe safedisc?)
-it's safedick V4 oO so I'll create a FULL IMAGE file to get it working better, I got big enough HDD so I couldn't care less about the size

Maybe 120% but daemon tools does NOT have to be removed to play bf2142. I keep BF2 mini image mounted at all times, even while playing 2142, so after an annoying lagfest in titan mode, I can go bomb the carrier on wake without having to do a thing except click on the icon.Bernadictus wrote:

Have you ever watched a DVD/listened to a CD a lot of times? After a while the CD/DVD actually forms grooves in the plastic, and causes it to not be read properly.
For a game it takes a lot more time since the disc isn't constantly being read, but it can/will eventually happen.
Not to mention the hassle it saves you from if you play a lot of games. Switching discs all the time can get fairly annoying.
Guys, have you tried using Pr0t.St0p to 'hide' your virtual drives before loading BF2142 in Daemon-Tools? Or any other hiders?
Generally they're designed for SecuROM, but it'll be interesting to try when loading a Safedisc game.

Game Jackal works perfectly! Get Game Jackal and create a "profile" of the game. Then you can play the game without the disc in the drive.
to make a mini image for 2142 u need these sectors of the dvd

how do i know? cos i find them in the file map for 2142 in game jackal now all i need to do is find a program to create a iso with only the sectors that i want. this just ruined ea's plane to make the game non crackable but still able to play online, lol. i just have to find a program and i will test it out, someone else test it for me as well.

I read a while ago (while trying to get this to work myself), that the 2142 discs need to be in or you cannot play online. Because each disc has some sort of code which needs to be recognised every time you go online. And for some reason, the CD image i made didn't count.
(^^I know i'm a complete noob at that sort of thing and that i have no idea what i'm talking about so nobody needs to tell me.^^)
So yeah, as far as i know you need the disc.
