Its pritty tight, actually. I think its Gibraltar, that has this like maze thing, with two levels, and the top is like grated, its alot of fun. Im not a big fan of Minsk, everything is too far apart but I havent played that many maps yet. Overall I think its way better than the demo, only a few things are a little annoying, but nothing serious.
Just been to the shop and i´m going to install it soon... got a couple things to do first....
Played, like it. The only thing I really have a complaint about is the ridiculous amounts of lag on a Titan servers. It's just stupid.
I like how fast the game loads, its like less than a minute instead of the usual bf2 time:D

Downloaded Demo to give it a try.......what a piece of shit.
I played it and I didn't like it.

- No time is wasted on figuring out the controls when you've played BF2
- More squadbased playing
Dislikes:
- The fights aren't as intense as BF2
- The weapons aren't that accurate
- I don't like big blue/green balls of light that must represent shells from a tank

Yeah, the map is crap. The game is a little unbalanced without the unlocks by the sound of it too. I enjoyed it though and I can still kick most peoples arses on foot.Cougar wrote:

I played the demo and it made up for the beta versions so i got into it and enjoyed it.
I hope the full version imporved from the demo!

My first round was Belgrade Mech whoring, second was minsk titan defense. Third round I was defeating multiple tanks will my using EMP grenades then quickly sprinting to a rail gun. My BF2 disk will be collecting dust for quite some time.

played the demo last night, and in truth i was actually impressed, it played really smooth, with all the shit i have had with bf2 i was adamant that i was not going to buy 2142, but changed my mind so orderd it, and got it downloaded, cant say what i really dislike at the moment as i have not played the full game, the british accent is funny tho, its 2142 not 1945 lol

Demopax dont work half the time (I planted some on an enemy tank, backed up, detonated...and no explosion...happened a few times.)
Sniper scope acts up at times (I will right click for scope, and sometimes, it will zoom in, then out really quick, then in again...that's very annoying.)
Sometimes on the Titan, you will be standing in one place, and be shaking, and if you move it continues.
Demopax fell thru the floor on Titan at some places...specifically, where the forcefields are after deactivated.
All in all, I'm enjoying it, just hope some of these minor issues get taken care of. Ranking seems a bit quick...but when you have 40-sumethin ranks...it comes with the territory.
