Its EA/Dice... what else would you expect?
Adding this to the list of reasons why not to get 2142..
Meh, people complain if the game doesn't work, then they complain when DICE patch things.

Not known yet...pretty sure the readme file will be found soon.
I'd say they are doing this to keep people from playing the game early.
Well the demo had flaws...they're doing it because they have to. Titans always seemed to lean to one side (or so it seemed when you died and slid), silo #'s were sometimes wrong...there are quite a few issues.

the patch simply fixes the client files for titan mode so the game shouldnt crash due to a faulty file
