I don't see the point of the free rank. The first rank in BF2142 is only about 40 points.

The login on the Beta requires ur EA account, and then you create ur alias or account or whatever. But will the final have a totally different login setup.

Yeah, it is kinda silly, but this is an additional rank on top of the veteran one.

Why the hell would it have a totally different setup? lol

In the final (just as with the beta), you will login with your EA account. It will then list out all of the nicks associated with that account (in this case, just your veteran one) which you pick to login with.

They should have given you a card or an empty box or something that contained the code, or at least that's what's happened with other people. I'd go talk to the store.
