yes, If my t.v. is on its either on the History channel or National geographic. I read that link a few months ago, I cant begin to understand what those people went through, that had to be terrifying to live through

ok. I don't want to hurt any national sentiments, but this has nothing to do with BF2 whatsoever. I propose either to move the thread to the appropriate subforum ( community ) or close it. As Radeon II set it up, he should decide. No one else answers, please. Thank you.
Can someone please move this from the Chatter ( Anything else! ) over to Not BF2S, Not BF2
( A general forum for chatter that falls outside of both BF2S and BF2 topics ) please ? my mistake GEESH..

I would like to give my sympathy for the soldiers who lost their lives in the never ending fight for freedom.
You guys saved the world by doing the right thing. Thank you for freeing us.
Respect for the fallen.

You just like to sob about popular subjects without really knowing why. gets you noticed? Thats cool!
Only the Atomic bomb Ended the War. They could have even stoped after Hiroshima, But I guess Japans leaders weren't " People Persons " To bad for the Japanese. good thing Truman was a U.S. servicemen person ( Canada, Australia, New Zealand, G.B., Dutch, Chinese and U.S.S.R. for that matter )
A lot off tham came home that would have died there
wasn't this the date of the fire bombing ? when we dropped incendiary bombs on Japan . Just a guess
can you remind me wat happened on the 28/29th, im usually pretty good with history but the dates arent ringing any bells.
Did you know that the Veitnam war started on my birthday?
Not my real birthday but the same date.
World War One ended on my sister's birthday, (again just the same date)
World War Two started on my Sister's friend's birthday,
And Franz Ferdinand was assassinated on my Mum's birthday.
Oh, and my Dad's birthday is Halloween.
What about the firebombing of Dresden? I mean firebombs destroyed a lot of Tokyo, but not the whole thing like in Dresden.
Not my real birthday but the same date.

Thats my ppoint, Nothing happend, just a typical B29 Raid that killed more people than the Atomic Bomb.Tyferra wrote:

B29 Raids wasted japan and they wouldnt quit. The Atomic Bomb brought them to there senses. We shuold bill them for it.
