...Thinking of starting to play POE2, and will probably switch regardless but -

Are there ranks and promotions, or stats? Sorry, pretty noob I know but if you don't ask how would you know?

also how do you install it is it just download and run or do you need to change your bf2 files!

there will be stats but no promos or ranks. POE2 isn't better than bf2 ..unlike dc > 1942 / poe > bfv
poe2 isnt better and doesnt deserve more play

As said above but ill re-itterate anyway

Poe2 does not use ranks or rankings - it doesnt use ABR either - however some servers do use it to record stats

the Poe2 dev team are working on a forthcoming STATISTICS gathering script (or whatever)
that will allow the player to see his/her  kills/deaths ratios etc.

there are no unlocks or promotions like EA's - but this is due to poe2 using pickup kits - and that TEAMPLAY is the game motto -

as for  the post made by the name below - i disagree i know atleast 30 ppl who have yet to play bf2 since poe2 was released and another 60 or so who play bf2 very rarely

And yes, you can still play ranked BF2 with POE installed.
