Ok I've read some forums and came to the conclusion that most people don't know(or do and hate it) that the difference between Poe2 and BF2 is One Word "UAV". I HATE the UAV from reg Bf2 because you can try and play the game smart by being quiet and don't let yourself be seen.......O yea it doesn't work. I can recall a time when I was running through Sharqi and Command put a UAV over head...The other team did this too. How did I know??because 4 of them were looking right at me through a building and over a hill. Poe2 I've found no problems with playing it smart. I can get behind every one of them(some only 2 feet way) with ease. In bf2 I cannot tell if they're hacking or not just because of the Uav.

So my conclusion is Poe2 is better just because of one thing NO UAV.
You can say what ever you want. I have thought this through and tested it. I will not change my opinion.
P.S. You can tell I was a America's Army player

you know, i have to admit, the thought "i bet he's an amercian army player" never crossed my mind through reading that.

and i kind of disagree. you'd be surprised at how many people don't look at the minimap. it takes some form of skill to work out sometimes where the enemy is on the minimap. you said you were spotted on sharqi, fair enough you may not have if it wasn't for the uav. but your uav also spotted them and therefore helped you out. and plus, commanding on POE2 sucks, the uav gave the commander something else to do and it's also a way to get love from his team.

An effective commander can spot enemies via his commanding screen though...but UAV is gone...and it's damn good...imagine Fallen or Orel with it : wouldn't be as good as they're.

commanding on POE2 sucks
Try (overpowered) Self-Propelled Artillery vehicles (PzH 2000 and M-1974) while commanding...and wreck the havoc of careless enemies...and get the highest KDR you'll ever have.

they where pissed as hell,   and most of them where wining about the easy kills i was making.

HAHA, even my retarded gamer friend(13) knows how to use the Uav and doesn't even know how to shoot. There is no "skill" using a map thats tells you where someone is, you need to figure it out...most people cant. Not good grounds to it back up.

I do have to agree that the command on Poe2 is different. You can take your time spot people out or be out with your team in the field suppling when you think its clear(Command gets points for killing in Poe2) I used to do that all the time early in Bf2.......fly and command....and I was still better than most commanders. Try and do that now and you get ban than SiRNoObSaLoT gets command.(or just someone complains because he wants the place in the aircraft.

I find that because you can see where the enemy UAV is flying on BF2 it tends to point towards where an enemy attack is about to take place. Look for the enemy UAV and you find the enemy, simple as that. I think it was better before you could see the UAV on screen, maybe if it wasn't labeled in red it would be a good compromise.
I still think it is better to have one than not but I must admit I hadn't even noticed it was missing on POE I was having so much fun with the game. Haven't tried command on it yet though.

On PoE if you go commander you can actually command or you can resign. Stuff like UAV, scanner etc completely destroys the point of flanking and infiltration because the commander can just magically spot you... in PoE, stealth has meaning

geez, this site is filling up with n00bs that come and flame for no reason. They need to work out that the "flaming" that goes on between senior members is all light hearted fun. As for you explosivo, grow up and actually forumlate a coherant and sensible argument for once.

i agree with the op. while in bf2 i loved the uav and thanks to it i used to get accused for wallhacking alot lol. but in poe i had to switch up my style of play cause i guess i was to used to always having a uav there. but it is alot more harder yet funner to play without uav cause now your squad has to watch each others back. espicially in maps like fallen and orel.
