Well for some reason I cant go high than 1000x800 (approx) where as I play bf2 at 1240x1024, so anyone know how to get it higher?
ps i edited video.con in my documents and it just reset to 800x600

Windows won't let you go higher than it thinks your video card can handle.

Iam playing with a Widescreen TFT and it works with the little trick below

Right click on your Battlefield 2 / 2142 icon on the desktop, click on properties on the part where it says target, add +szx 19200 +szy 1200. So it looks like this ...

"C:\Games\Battlefield 2 Demo\BF2.exe" +menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +szx 1920 +szy 1200

If you have nVidia, go onto the sytem properties and untick "Hide modes this monitor cant support" or as the man said rightly, update the driver

Yeah it won't let me run at 1280*1024, Which i play BF2 at, and it's my native resolution for my monitor
