LOL me to,i am in IRC channel from 2142 just waiting for it.Still only subscribers can get the new version.We have been told that they are uploading the file to another so many servers,so its just a waiting game.

Appears i was wrong, it's still closed, to get it you have to enter your beta code. Beta 2 is out (and has been for a while) but it's not open yet, people already in the beta are getting priority on the download for now.
