First thing you'll notice ingame is that the it'll take many shots to kill. The soldiers wear thick body armour. You'll also notice that the weapons aren't as accurate as in BF2, but you can still own. And sniping isnt even worth trying until you unlock the scope stabilizer that will you can get at your 3rd unlock if you use them all on the sniper kit..
I'm guessing it will be similar to BF2. At first, only the weapons capabilities will matter, then as the months progress, people will learn how to use each one. Most people hate the M16A2 in BF2, I think it's awesome. It all depends on the players skill with the weapon.... if someone played with only the pistol of 6 months, they would own someone with an Ak-101.
