(i mean stickied thread)

its annoying to have to search through a bunch of random topics to find one that tells you. since it is an open beta i would think there is no conifidentiality involved.

if not, that can someone message me how. if you check my stats you will see i own the game and all the expansion/booster packs with almost 1000 hours play time.

i havent read anywhere about any limitations other than "Subsciber" which it doesnt define well. i figured out that it has something to do with fileplanet.

Yeah. You have to be a fileplanet subscriber to get it. It's not open yet

i want to help fix a product but i dont want to pay $7 if i already own a bunch of EA stuff and will probably buy 2142.

so you are telling me you have to have a paid for filepanet account. oh well. hooray for american bureaucratic capitalism......(thats a different rant)

I paid the 7 bucks to be able to download files finally without having to search too much for free servers. Small price to pay to be able to download any game file needed, at any moment, guaranteed. You're not paying EA directly anyway.

So it's not like you pay 7 bucks just to try out the beta. You're playing 7 bucks for fileplanet access, which comes with Beta opporunities.

Yeah i know at first I thought it wasnt worth it but the download speeds are amazing and the other demos/ betas they have are also worth the $7.
