As most of you now know, TriggerHappy998 and KtotheIMMY have left BF2S.com.

I can hear them now.. the screams of "Yay! no more trig!" and "thank god for that, he was ban happy" about TriggerHappy998.
But wait. Is it really a good thing that he is gone?
Sure he banned me once. Sure he banned MOST people at least once . But he did those for a reason. And those reasons were 99% of the time JUSTIFIED by the content of the post that the offender was banned for.

Also: Look at the forums now.
It's not even been a day.. and there's already a lot of spam that wouldn't have lasted a FIFTH of the time it has if Trig were still here. pure_beef_69 posted at least 4 threads that wouldn't have seen the light of day.

Kimmy. That one girl mod. The Medic Mod. The Mod who never really banned anyone. She's still Kimmy, no matter what. Her decision to leave with Trig is one I could have seen coming a mile off. She's one of the coolest people i've talked to from this forums, even if i think i annoy her sometimes

I know i'll still talk to them on XFire and on KtotheIMMY.com.. but its gonna be different around here with them gone. not a good different either.

I wish them BOTH the best in the future for everything. And you all should too.

Yes.. i know there are threads by Trig and Kimmy about their leaving. And yes.. i'll probably be linked there by many a fucking little nub.. but I don't care. I had to post this.

dont get me wrong but i bet that at least 75% of the people in this forum (including me) had no contact with both of them. they did their job and they decided to leave. big deal but that happens everywhere and all the time.
there might even be more spam now but even beforehand there already has been a lot of bullshit threads and most topics have been full with stupid flaming, dumb accusations and off-topic jibberish.
it might be sad for the people who knew them (but it's not like they are dead or something, so if you are really friends with em you can stay in touch anyway) but I dont think that everyone needs to act as if the forum would be dead now.
it will still be a forum filled with a bunch of nice people and an equal bunch of idiots.

the point is that (no matter how sad it is for some people) we all have to live and deal with it and it's not the end of the world and certainly not the end of this forum. if this forum dies some day, than because of others reason that two of the mods leaven - we still have some other mods, doing good work.

Im not sure if it is just because people know trig is gone or I am just noticing it, but the spam today has been TERRIBLE.

We need someone to clear this shit up, and I think Spawn would be a good choice.

So far we're just trying to come to grips with this, we're not even discussing the apointment of new Mods at this stage, so quit being vultures;). When and if we decide on new Moderators those people will be PMed and if they accept you will then know. Until then keep a lid on it.

Yep. The leaving of those two is definitely a turn for the worse. They will both be missed.

Never had interaction with either up until they left and never gave them cause... I do know they both were out of North Carolina if that means anything. However, I think Triggerhappy998 handled himself pretty poorly to tell ALL BF2 players to go fuck themselves - no excuse for that. Maybe a sincere apology might be well received by all right now.

As I said on IRC, I understand people are a bit upset they're gone, but we need to move on and get new mods to take their place. Mods stepping down is one of the most common things to happen on a forum.
