the sniper rifles in 2142 are useless. If you seriously plan on being a dedicated 2142 sniper, i suggest you look into other kits. They wobble, they do little damage, and you cant see very far with them.

ive never understood why so many people like to snipe on bf2 its not like they dont know where you are because of uav and scans. The rifles sucks. I'd rather be running into the enemy with a g36 any day than sat up on some random hill waiting for someone in a base to stand still for a few secs so you can try get a head shot. Im kind of glad 2142 snipers suck hopefully there will be less noobs up on the hill the whole doing nothing.
Its not easy .. but it has its place .. mostly to counter other snipers

well i love the r-con kit (sniper) with the lambert carbine (not a sniper rifle) and cloaking.

The best snipers I have seen in the game are the ones who are always moving. They don't hide the whole round. Snipers should be in squads, sitting back a ways at good elevation to sight things for their squad.
i wish snipers would at least help get flags,but noooo, they just lay lazy like and waite for a easy kill,lol
