Just a little heads up for those who may not have heard about this. F.E.A.R. has released thier multiplayer content as a free download. Personally its a little too science fiction for me to be real excited about but free is the right price. It is actually pretty damn fun imo.. anyhow heres the links if anyone wishes to grab this.

I made the same mistake, after you accept page 2 it goes to page 1 but youre allready signed up
If you look in your email youll have an email for each time you signed up

Why its free I cant explain but its only the multiplayer

Multiplayer Fear is really disappointing. The movement in this game is incredible slow. Even if you run you think that you're standing. I came from Q3A over to BF2 - this was already a slow down in movement, but when i played FEAR i thought i was on Valium.

honestly the speed is faster than bf2 and there is a run.. a better question is why would you play a shit game like q3 for so long

d00d i bought FEAR last year and i loved it ´but now i deletet it ... i think ill reinstall ^^
The Weapons are so awesome d00d the guns SHOOT (not like BF2 peanut-shooting L85a1)

Singleplayer: Slow Motion Bullet Proof (what ever ^^ ) and great action, great hiding tricks
bad: i think in one of those levels i got stuck and had no idea wheres the way..

Multiplayer: i think the weapon was good balanced like IF you hit with the Nail gun you pwn and nail the enemys into the wall I was people PWNzoring with SMG...
bad: only killing people with guns and spawnkilling all the time

For some reason trying to get a good download speed for this game sucks. Filefront is giving me the best speed at about 550kb/Sec. I couldn't even get 100kb/sec on Sierra's site. 51min left

F.E.A.R isn't that slow paced. If you aren't moving fast enough just holster your weapon. You run faster then the sprint in Battlefield 2.

EDIT:

But, for a game like this, even that is too slow, that's why in leagues that support F.E.A.R (CAL for example, http://www.caleague.com) they turn the run speed up by 40-50% I believe.

Tried it for the first time last night. Doesn't take long to get used to does it? Low learning curve. All in all a good laugh and some of the maps are tense.

A nice change of pace compared to BF2.
