I know i'm gonna get flamed real bad for asking this on a BF2 forum.

Recently i decided to take a break from BF2(until 8/15)and play something different.I've had a new copy of Hitman Blood Money and finally decided to install it.Everything installed fine but when i try to play,I get a pop-up window saying "A required security module cannot be activated" and sends me to SecuROM which in turn says "SecuRom has determined that an emulation tool has modified your pc settings"

I've tried Hitman forums but that was 2 days ago and still no response. If there is anyone else here who has played Hitman BM and seen this problem, what do i have to do.

I have Daemon tools but i don't have anything running w/ it and it is disabled.

If there is anyone who can help me,please PM me.I don't know shit about computers*getting ready for even more flaming* I'm a tool maker IRL.

I LOVE that game!  Graphics and everythin are intense...without a doubt...the best in the series.

But...on to your question.  I believe 70% of  ppl who got that game came across that problem...including myself, and yes, it has to do with Daemon.  I had that program on my comp about a year ago to play NFS:MW...but when I best it, I uninstalled Daemon incorrectly, so it still showed installed on my comp...but since my dumb ass deleted "certain" files thinking it would get rid of it...I accidentally got rid of the uninstall.exe.  So...I went to the site, d/l'd it again...same version I had before, installed it, then uninstalled it the correct way...deleted the rest of the files (only the .zip that I recently downloaded) and it worked.

Moral of the story...
You may have Daemon off, or whatever, but if it's on your system AT ALL...the game won't work.  If you want it to work, correctly uninstall Daemon Tools...and it should work.  Good luck bro.
