So we had just bought a scoop attachment for the lawnmower last week, and my dad had been using it yesterday to move dirt around to holes in the lawn. Well, neither of my parents are home today, so I decided to go ahead and mow the grass with the scoop still attached. I figured "Hey, all I'll have to do is make earlier turns, it shouldn't be that hard." All is going well, I have half the back yard finished as I am coming towards the pool. I tried to turn sharp to set myself right alongside the pool, to get as close as possible so I didn't have to go back and mow the same spot- big mistake. I turned too late, and punctured the pool with the scoop. At first I didn't realize it, until the 5,000 gallons of water began shooting out all over me and the lawnmower, which started to shut off... At this point I am still just in a state of shock, not quite realizing what I have just done. I knew I needed to move the lawnmower, because all of that water pouring all over it couldn't be a good thing, but I didn't want to try to crank it for the same reason. The water finally began to calm down, as the pool (originally 4 feet tall) had become a third as tall as it once was. I moved the lawnmower away, and the yard is underwater.

I am in so much trouble.
