the only reason i am keeping the 360 is FABLE2 cant wait for that game, halo3 doesnt intrest me i will buy it complete it get rid just so i can finish the story but thats the only reason my 360 isnt being put on ebay.

there doesnt seem to be anything new coming out for it.

i used to work in a computer game shop waited till after christmas to get a 360 new machines come in they may have fixed them but no i had to take it back and get a new one, so i have had 2 so far.
Fable 2 looks good, but they screwed up Fable 1 by promoting it as something it wasn't (PR made it sound like Oblivion, but ended up linear storylined).
We have a lot of fun with GRAW, COD2 and we even played a lot of Fight Night Round 3, but that gets repetitive after you beat it once  (we = my buddy has a 360 and a few of us play all the time).
Perfect Dark is a joke too, but there are a few good titles in the works.

Well i actually think that perfect dark is a good game but i also think that there is some serious lack of good game's

Yuck.  I thought Perfect Dark was a cheesy rip of Halo 2 (gameplay) and was deep into the waters of ADD.  Ah well.
It took a while for me to find a game worthy of the 360 hype.

Keep your eyes out for Crysis, too.  There really is a promising list of titles in the works, but what the end game for most of them will look like remains to be seen.

You don't want to reset the controller, just take the good one and make sure your friend gets the bad one.

crysis=pc 360 cant match that detail! in my mind anyway.

I'm not sure.  I don't think the 360 has hit anywhere near it's capability for graphics yet.
The Mardi Gras stage in Hitman was impressive, in that the streets were FILLED with people doing random things, and no lag on the game at all.  She might handle Crysis.

pc version of crysis  Dx 10 you only got a Dx9 ati card in the 360, i bet they tone it down the crysis screens just look too good.

Maybe.  The PC screen shots were incredibly impressive.  The jungle looked real....

We were talking about a controller, but we completely hijacked the thread for our own use while we wait for daffy to get back to us with his results

LOL you guys have really gotten off with talking about 360 and PS3. BTW I never did get my calibration fixed, but im not to bothered now.

Did you try the black and white+ triggers and then start?   That sucks if it didn't work.  I didn't know you could lose the calibration in the first place, and you'd think unplugging it would fix it....wierd.

Maybe its not calibration. Im not technical.

Just the left joystick dosnt seem to allow me to go left very far?

E.g. A driving game allows me to steer right ok, but steering left is hardly noticable.

Did you try another controller?
I've actually looked into it myself since you came back here, and it sounds to me like the Xbox system is responsible for calibrating the controller on its own (the PS2 does).  If you haven't tried another controller, I bet it's broken.

Back to the hijack, here's some 360 titles worth watching for:
Prey
Saints Row
Enchanted Arms
Chrome Hounds
N3 - Ninety Nine Nights
Gears of War
FEAR

edit: Call of Duty 3, Indiana Jones, Transformers (I think)

haha, I don't remember that one
I remember that if you jump 12 times at the beginning of the last stage of Double Dragon for Sega Master System (oh yeah, I went there) you got either 10 more continues, or infinite continues...can't remember

If the console does calibration then the controller is probably busted. I tried a second controller which worked fine.

That'd be it then, I suspect.  Sorry it can't be fixed.

take the controller apart and have a play with the insides something could be stuck, hell if you break it you were going to get a new one anyway, you never know you might just fix it.
