Anyway I wanna now what buttons need to be pressed to reset the controllers calibration?

I done a ton of google searches and have found nothing. I have also looked at manuals and shit.

Add select before start and that's the cheat code for Contra for the NES, hahaha, that's the only thing I'm going to remember when Alzheimers takes me.

Did that work?

On a semi-related note (it's only related cause it's a controller combination), to get your Xbox (regular) to kick into HD (when it is properly connected to a HDTV) you have to hold both triggers and press in on both thumbsticks (L3/R3) on the Xbox dashboard screen.  You only do this the first time you set it up for HD.

hmm i think you have to put your vibration back in the menu when there is no disk in it or put the vibrition back in the game option's everytime.

That's why I added 'when it is properly connect to a HDTV'.  The xbox and the 360 are capable of 480p, 720p and 1080i.

This helps the calibration of the controller?
Personally I know nothing of the Xbox controller calibration settings/resetting so I'm waiting for an update on whether or not it worked for the op.

I don't think I've ever seen an option for vibration in the Xbox system settings.  That isn't to say it isn't there, so I'll have to look and see.  GJ Daco.

The difference you see depends on the game as much as the TV.  I've got a tube HD tv that converts all incoming HD signals to 1080i, and some games look amazing and others look the same as they would on any other non-HD TV.
It'll be interesting to see what happens when the PS3 comes out, because it's capable of 1080p, and there isn't a TV out there that can output at 1080p (which should change quickly).

I'm with you on that one.  It'll be a while before I give in to the 800 dollar (canadian) price tag anyway.

i am guessing you are pro ps3 then? i have an 360 at the moment and i really dont like in fact the only game i like is rockstar table tennis. GRAW was boring already played COD2 in fact all the other games are a let down. hoping sony will do a little better.

well you have to like console FPS's and sports games if you have a 360, i have a 360 and i play LOTR,Halo2 cuz its still fun,Over-G,Oblivion and somtimes GRAW but CoD2 sucks big time

I'm pro Xbox more than anything, but the contagious hardware issues with the 360 is really discouraging me from getting one.  I have Xbox and PS2 and like them both (Xbox sound/video abilities are the kicker).  Great games for each.
My PC can play all the games out for 360 at the moment too.
I'd like a PS3 but I really don't agree with the price - don't get me started on the Blu Ray/HD-DVD battle.
If they re-release Final Fantasy VII for the PS3, then I'll have no choice.

the only reason i am keeping the 360 is FABLE2 cant wait for that game, halo3 doesnt intrest me i will buy it complete it get rid just so i can finish the story but thats the only reason my 360 isnt being put on ebay.

there doesnt seem to be anything new coming out for it.

i used to work in a computer game shop waited till after christmas to get a 360 new machines come in they may have fixed them but no i had to take it back and get a new one, so i have had 2 so far.

You didn't like COD2?  We played a lot of that one and we had lots of fun.  Is the LOTR the battle for middle earth 2? If so how is it?
I have Oblivion for the PC and it's great.  I've got GRAW for the PC too but it's a bit different than the 360.

yes it is battle for middle earth and it is fun if you like strategy game's and  it is difficult and it frustrates you sometimes but its fun also online, you have several game types like resources, king of the hill,Hero, normal 1vs1 or 2vs2, and some scenarios that are similar to some parts of the movies, in other words its a  good game.
