with all the anti 2142 out there - it would be funny if we some how got the word out to ban 2142 - imagine all those copies sitting on the shelves - of course the retailer would be hurt more at first since EA will bill them on the copies they ordered but after 2 or more weeks of them sitting there and retailer not reordering and EA getting backed up with extra copies thats when it will hurt them

While I don't really expect any bugs to actually be fixed, I'll at least give them the benefit of a doubt until we can judge for ourselves.
A few posts answered my question simple yes or no not why.
Most likely yes, downloading a beta now if it plays badly (not just buggy, that's expected from a beta) then I'll be sticking to BF2, if there's even a chance it could be good then I'll buy it.
I don't like the idea that if you buy it from one place you'll get a free promotion though.....
