Well after 7-8 years of waiting/wanting/trying to go, finally I am heading out to the Black Rock Desert in a few weeks to the Burning Man festival.

I know a fair few folk who have been out there, but even with what they say of the place, I am never gonna "get it" until I have been to it. I'm a 10 time veteran of Glastonbury, and this one is the only festie I have heard of that would be comparable to the Pre-Fence days of Glasto.

SOOOO, if anyone else out there has made the trip to the Playa, please post up yer pics and experiences, and TRY to get me more excited than I already am.

I'm going to go one of these years. My bosses are major Burners...they actually are volunteers for the Burning Man Artery section. I was planning for it this year, but it looks like I won't be able to make it.
