I didnt mind the bridge actually, except the end bit where I ran over a mine and went all the way back to a checkpointseaweedspit13 wrote:
true there were sum cool levels i thought the bridge level was kinda hard, the main thing that bugged were that the checkpoints are miles away so ud have to do an half an hour bit again if u died, the asylum was cool espically with the concrete pillars it was like the shoot out in the matrix lolbennisboy wrote:
I aint clocked it yet, but you gotta say some levels were truly amazing, like the asylum, thats gotta be one of the hardest levels I've played in any game, it was insane amounts of bad guys with shields or rpgs. Altho I only died once on itseaweedspit13 wrote:

but i think nothing can beat... Minesweeper...
System shock 2 was a great game and the same people are coming out with Bioshock. But BF2 "ruined" everything because playing the computer sucks compared to 64 people on an excellent game. I like Direct Action , The Movies and bought the expansion packs but barely play them.
No way! While good, CS got way more play than HL.stryyker wrote:

Shit? Really... Fuck me dead I gotta get me HL2 then. I've got an X300 with 2.5gb of ram. Shit, what have I been missing out on...cyborg_ninja-117 wrote:
yesh agree, that game has the best graphics and an ATI X300 can play it on all high on 1280X1024 (no AA or AF though, doesnt really make a difference in HL.) and still get no lag, fps around 24-30 w/ 1gb of raml::.:LIAM:.::l wrote:

Hmm, any tips on how to nick me parents credit card?
Stryyker he means Steam... I've killed all of it's backround downloading capabilities...
LaidBackNinja, ever play Dues Ex (the original)? I dunno hey, comes pretty close to Half Life. A mate of mine and I put Starcraft and Total Annihilation on two comps every year for a day or two and blow the shit out of each other.
Pity every year I forget how to play Total Annihilation properly. Kick his ass at Starcraft though.
Whoa... Can't believe these forums are still kicking.
storyline is EVERYTHING. counter strike isnt even a game, its a modbennisboy wrote:

You have to use steam, where you never know what is really read from your PC, you have to log on, no reselling. They read PC contents, how often people play, where they stuck. I know, with BF2 it's quite the same, but to play on Inet I need to log on somewhere, but a single player game where I have to log on .... NO. I won't support such behaviour.stryyker wrote:

Maybe I am a little paranoid, but why not.
That makes sense. Steam is a pain in the ass regardless of what HL mod you're playing.Flecco wrote:

Yes, CS is a mod without the HL storyline but it became much more popular than HL.
I never did play Deus Ex when it was new, but I kept hearing it was such a great game I eventually picked it up last year. By then it was so hopelessly outdated I simply could not play it for more than 30 minutes. I don't know exactly what it was about that game, but I just don't like it. Maybe I should have played it when it was new. It's utterly unimpressive to me now, for some reason.Flecco wrote:
