Most of the time when I try to join  a server in Counter Strike: Source, it freezes at Sending Client Data.......
and I have to restart my comp which takes a while. Why is it doing this. How can I get it to stop?

Yes happened to me, what I did was I left for however long it took in tell it said lost connection or something like that, after it says that it should work. The trick is to just leave it hope it helps.

sometimes ive left it and it starts pretty soon. But I guess I havent been wating long enough. i should be more patient.

I had that same problem, but it went to a blue screen after I had a server crash. i reinstalled all 5 disks (which sucked by the way), re updated counterstrike and logged in. It worked after that.
