i like the street fighter seires as well. the alpha games were street fighter at its best. all the crossover titles [marvel vs capcom] suck ass, too much flash and not enough substance. street fighter 3 was too slow for me.

however, tekken is definitely not a button masher's game. soul calibur and dead or alive are much more masher friendly.

I love Tekken and soulcaliber are both equal in my book. Both have provided sooo much fun I cant say one or the other. I stopped playing tekken after tag because people got tired of playing with me (was in the navy @ the time) either way, love both games. As far as button mashin, soulcaliber takes the cake but anyone who knows a counter eats button mashers everyday of the week and twice on tuesdays.
