Anyway, it at least takes a mild amount of skill to be decent at CSS, you have to aim (And don't give me this 'you have to guess' shit. That's bs, play in a high tickrate server) don't say it's repetitive, because you just play the generic maps. Get out there, and play some custom maps, or something aside from dust 2, office, prodigy, or aztec. The only reason you think it's a piece of shit game, is that you didn't give it a chance. I could take some shots at BF2, but I'm not.

like i said, every game takes skill. i never said CS doesn't take skill. backgammon takes skill. it has nothing to do with whether the game is any good. in fact, bad games probably take more skill than good games. if you have to do something retarded, like spin in a circle while doing a handstand before you could play the game, that's more skill than if you could just jump in.
i gave CS plenty of chances. i even used to be good at it. now it needs to die already.

I first played counter strike source a couple of months ago. It was included in my half-life 2 package that I bought a while ago, but for some reason I never felt the urge to play cs:s until recently. I won't agree that it's the worst game ever, but it's definitely not bf2. It has its moments of fun, but I suck at it, which makes it less fun for me. When you suck at the game, you get killed right away and have to sit out for several minutes before a new round starts. So if I sit down to play for 30 minutes, my actual playing time is probably 5 minutes, if even that.
On the other hand, if I'm sitting at home with a few minutes to kill, I can quickly load up cs:s and play a round before bf2 finishes loading the server list. I may exaggerating, but it sure feels like that sometimes. So I usually play cs:s whenever I don't the time to commit to a bf2 game and I just want a gaming "quickie".
I have noticed in cs:s that the aiming and accuracy is awkward. Since I die a lot, I have plenty of time to observe other players (in first person perspective) and I have noticed that they can kill other players even though the crosshairs were not aimed on the enemy. Maybe it's lag or maybe my eyes were too slow to notice the headshot. I don't know. Just my 2 cents.
In summary, it has its moments of fun, but for me it just doesn't compare to the complete bf2 experience.

Well technically if you wanted to look at it in terms of which game is "better", first you gotta ask yourself, what qualifies something as being better?
If complexity makes better than BF2 has won.
If number of people playing, number of years it has stayed strong, number of units sold, number of mods made, number of spinoff sub-culture whatevers (like PurePwnage), then CS:S and the CS Series definitly takes the cake.

It does to me. I like the fact that i have to come up with a tactic after being killed in bf2. I have to make a decision on what will help me survive. In CS all i need is enuff funds to pick up a m4,ak, or awp. and its over. That wont work in BF2. You have to work as a team to NOT get ass raped. CS it dont matter if your team mates die, you can still win. its lil easy i think. actually elementary... But i do love a good CS:CZ SuperHero Mod. Until they finish the CS:S version. Bf2 is where my effort goes. I just like how everytime its different. Unless u get raped by camping assholes or something.
