I think it's a bit ... specific. But who the hell is pro war? It is sometimes a necessary instrument, and can be an economic boom (WWII in America?) But I don't think anyone would actually say they're "Pro War" and be a serious intelligent individual. That being said, stem cell research is a potentially critical field.
not specific enough, i just don't want eggs fertilized then killed for stem cells, I don't care about the other types, and pro-war is misleading, no one, not even the hardest warrior wants war, us so-called "pro-war" types see war as a last resort, not the only option, but an option nonetheless, handing pieces of paper to someone for years and writing them letters telling them how bad they are don't do any good unless you eventually step up to the plate
edit: HA HA! wrote that at the same time, didnt even know you said it was too specific, guess i mean there aren't enough options for me to vote

fair enough
Against war, in favour of stem cells. I feel Bush's decision is a global issue in that it will affect the total pool of stem cell research and thus make cures etc that may be gained through the research and used on people all over the globe less likely.

yeah but we agree on the main points of our posts though, great minds think alike. I also would not want to see stem cell farms where new embryos are manufactured, however culturing existing colonies of stem cells seems alright to me. And we're 100% in agreement on war ... nearly verbatim.kr@cker wrote:

Bush is an idiot for vetoing stem cell research, its religious "moral" decisions that hold back the human race as a whole.
As far as war goes, sometimes its a necessary evil you just hope the innocents don't get hurt.
