hi my name is -=cb=-krazykarl and i am a video game addict, i took the day off yesterday, for a job interview, and managed to get in 13+ hours of bf2.

I did hear stories of people dropping dead from toxic poisoning / malnutrition! But it could be an urban legend. I know i have sometimes rushed a meal to get back on the PC, but i have never missed one!

i have a full time job and girlfreind, most of my day is spent thinking about bf2. my g.f has said if i don't quit playing so much shes leaving me. (i actually had to think about that). a little over a half a year ago i had a procedure done on my back. i was not supposed to sit straight up but keep laying down for a few days. after about an hour of the sergury and the drugs wore off, i took some pain meds and i was sitting at my rig playing Bf2.

Jeese that guys sad. No friends and spends 17 hours a day?! I admit I did choose BF2 over my friends a bit to often and spend about a day a week on games but I noticed that I was on to long so cut down. Now I spend about 10 hours a week on games.

I've tried to pursue my regular gaming addiction lately with no love whatsoever. I try to get into a BF2 marathon like before only to become frustrated by CTD's, crashing servers and the general bullshit that goes on in any given server. I've gone back to a number of single player games which were interrupted by the advent of BF2 but likewise, I just cant get into them and quickly exit the game.
Yes, I'm a gaming addict. I have not had a good fix in several months though and have pretty much given up the whole gaming scene in frustration. At least for the monment, gaming is dead to me.
I'm sure that will change but for the time being, I'm content to interest myself with other activities.

I'll freely admit to a video game addiction, but I haven't went so far as to keep a bottle next to my PC to piss into. And while I could have done better than a couple of AA degrees if I had less game time under my belt, I can hardly say that my education is severely hurt.
