yea, the UN on paper is an amazing idea. But the best example I can think of for the UN's inactions is Rwanda. THey pulled out and just let the Tutsis and Hutus get massacred by one another.

But think about this: integration of Holocaust survivors back into the society which tried to kill them. There would be hostility both towards and from the Jews. And I'm not saying that every German was an Aryan Jew-hating member of society, but in general there would still be strong Anti-Semetic feelings.
