Taking into affect that we are in a computer gaming forum, I would be talking about modding computers.

Well, I stand on the floor. And press on the drill. So I'll say i have a floor standing one.

my family sort of just pools tools, most of mine are antiques (love em), but my dad and I bought one a few years ago, it stays at his garage as it's a little taller than me, all sorts of fun things have been through it, carburetors, furniture, homeless people, but most of the case cutting and the like that I've done has been with a dremel, if you do alot of that try the floor standing kind with the flexible shaft, you can put some serious rocks and wheels that won't chip and break like the little kit ones on it without overloading it

My GF, or domestic partner if you want to be PC, is a packrat.  There is no room in my garage for a drill press.  I had a work bench that worked perfect for my chop saw; just used a few sliding clamps.  I had to take that apart and basically stuff it away to have enough room to walk through the garage.  My grinder is on a shelf as well for the same reason.

I need to find a bullet proof story for a localized fire in the garage.

I find it easier to just toss it all away and beg forgivness later.

Donate it to some local VFW or something.

I actually have 3 drill press's.
I really dont keep pix of my shop, but I'm kinda in the foundry/gutter art business. This weathervane was made from wood, in that I made a wood mold and then sand cast the parts in bronze. The copper sheet finial was made in my shop.
I wish I had more pictures, but, oh well.

This was part of the one zillion things I did today.
Oh yeah. Liquid metal. I love it.

ooooOOOooooo, i've never poured anything, just screwed around with different types of welding to make different patterns for ....stuff, I can make structural welds, but they're ugly as hell as I never really had any training, just learned stuff from having to fix the welders the dipshits at my old shop broke all the time, I did the industrial art thing, if my boss saw me he didn't care cuz I had to fix the welders, I used his scrap and cleaned the shop in the process, and learned a few things at the same time, what all do you pour?
