Okay, so this is the craziest thing I've ever seen. The judgement came down and it looks ugly for some of Italy's top clubs...

AC Milan:
*15 points deducted before season begins

Fiorentina:
*Relegated to Serie B
*12 points deducted before season begins

Lazio:
*Relegated to Serie B
*7 points deducted before season begins

Juventus:
*Stripped of last 2 Serie A titles
*Relegated to Serie B
*30 points deducted before season begins

On top of that, they're all banned from European competition for next season as well! HOLY CRAP!

Any fans of these teams in the house? Care to share your wrath/misery? Does anybody know what happens to the empty spots in the Champions League?

I thought cheating was legal in the Italian league!

Surely it was a farce before, as the match fixing has been proved last years champions league has been tainted!!!

Cheating spoils the game, it gives them a year and a lot of lost cash to think about it!

As far as the Champions League goes, the places go to Inter, Roma, Chievo and Palermo. Theres some confusion over the UEFA Cup, as Empoli who should qualify dont have a licence to play in Europe, so Milan are trying to take that place. Also the three relegated teams (Lecce, Messina, Treviso.) now stay in Serie A.
I dont know who now gets credited with the two league titles stripped from Juve.

Don't know how far the corruption goes but it is really harsh for the fans, players etc to be punished for the actions of various individuals at these clubs, but if you cheat you deserve to be punished
