It would be great if they took the laws away...
Then it would be a Rite, not a Privilege...
Just like breathing, there are no breathing laws are there?
And didnt you know there are knife laws as well?
Yeah but nothing about kitchen knives in them|-LoNgHiLL-| wrote:

Kitchen knives are in them...
Any injury cause by any knife must be reported to the police or you are in violation of the law...
If you get treatment for the injury they report it automatically...

New Jersey is a nice place to be from. I lived there for 9 years. Don't ask how I escaped.
You all need to fire the entire state government and send a few people up here to learn how to run a state. We have NO income tax, NO sales tax (w/ a few exceptions, i.e. booze, cigarettes, restaurants, and a few others), and a decent road system. Seriously, has anyone here ever driven the NJ Turnpike? The section that goes from 10 lanes to 4 is my favorite. How about the Garden State Parkway? There's a toll every 2 miles. $0.35 just to drive 2 miles (I think, its been a while). WTF!!!!!!!!

I moved back to New Jersey from Arizona last year . I got into pest control so I got to meet a shit load of people . From the rich to the low income housing projects . I've talked to plenty of people who worked at the casinos and they said it sucked being cut off . Some live paycheck to paycheck and didn't make rent in time .
Casinos were losing 1.3 mill a day but they were reopened a few days after being shut down so . Over all this sucks . High rent , high prices , Taxes on smokes ( sin tax - what ever happened to separation of church and state ? Almost $6 a pack that's what happened ) high gas prices and now 7% tax . This place sucks lol . So freaking humid you gotta bust out the scuba gear just to get to your car in the morning . Only good thing is that I got the right job . So much moisture you can make a decent amount of cash doing pest control . Oh well I'll just have to deal with it .

So much tax for a shithole like NJ you would expect it to be much cleaner in the north, I know south is nicer but cherryhill or however you spell it also hoboken is quite nice but expensivejonnykill wrote:

nice, New Hampshire has no state tax? Pretty sweet........
hoboken is not really that nice, it's expensive but it has the projects and actually gun violence in it almost on a monthly baises. The best thing about jersey is nothing really bad ever happenes to us, no hurricanes, no earth quakes and no floods at least north jersey.
Huh? Rock? Just two weeks ago Trenton flooded...

Trenton is above the North/South split...cpt.fass1 wrote:

lol that's south jersey, there is no Noth/South split. once you get below New Brunswick it's like tennennesse(no offenise meant).
Point being we are not exempt from geographical disasters, they are in our backyard...cpt.fass1 wrote:

Flood Warnings were in effect for Northern NJ during the flooding the other week...
New Brunswick - Middlesex County would BE Tennessee...

i actually don't give a shit about any of this, i don't pay taxes...yet. But raising the 6% sales tax to 7% isn't horrible is it? It's one more cent to the dollar for what you bought, and they're doing that to alleviate the states debt(isn't it 4.5 billion or something?). Lots of people from new jersey here.
