OKay. I have a scratched cd and, without paying serious coinage, would like to know a way to fix it. It is for PS2 (GTA:SA if u were wondering) and when i play, it says Error reading disc. Any suggestions?
cd cleaner?
peanut butter
cleaned it and polished it thrice
wtf? thats almost as weird as putting toothpaste on it and flushing it down the toilet={OGC}=HK-47 wrote:

Toothpaste and no joke. You a pea sized of toothpaste and rub on the scratch with your finger.
how do i get the toothpaste off, flush it down the toilet?
Rinse the disc with water... This was an article in Popular Science...
hey it works , i put it on my vice city then it started working againlukeiamnotyourfather wrote:

Damn 60 Seconds Per A Post
i guess ill try it then...if it dont work, then ur getting neg karma! wait crap lol joking
if you ever broke a cd you know the inside is the disk and the scratched part is the plastic sandwitches, so all you have to do is take a lighter and lightly swing the flame back and forth over the scratch
and toothpaste? wtf? dude, their joking with you

Car wax does the trick

my local video shops do cd cleaning for about 3 bucks. my bf2 is scratched so ill c how it looks after
Damn, toothpaste and peanut butter can help a scratched cd? I shouldn't have thrown away my Halo cd then.
Believe it or not.....urine.
Piss on it then buff it and it will work.

tried carwax, didnt work, havent heard of the flame trick. Do you think AIM (toothpaste, gel) will work?

Gel Toothpaste won't work though...
dont hold the flame there or you'll warp the cd, just do it enough and rub something like a napkin over it to buff it while its hot, it will melt the dent/scratch back into place, the scratch causes the laser to reflect basicallylukeiamnotyourfather wrote:
