BERLIN (Reuters) - Police in Berlin said on Wednesday they had arrested two men on suspicion of placing cement-filled soccer balls around the city and inviting people to kick them. At least two people injured themselves by kicking the balls, which were chained to lampposts and trees alongside the spray-painted message: "Can you kick it?"

Police said they had identified a 26-year-old and a 29-year-old and had found a workshop in their apartment where they made the balls. The two are accused of causing serious physical injury, dangerous obstruction of traffic and causing injury through negligence, police said.

WTF? Pranks? What happened to filling the town fountain full of washing powder or gluing coins to the floor and watching people trying to pick 'em up?

too far....but pretty funny....oh man im torn on this one.

when i was young i painted a rock to look like a brown mcdonalds paper bag and put it on the road and watched a guy drive over it...then change his tire..... i got in BIG trouble for that one!!

Too far, practical jokes should be embaressing for the person who they are played on, thats where the fun lies (Like in the coin glued to the floor example) If the joke isnt based on embaressment your really just going out of your way to hurt people for YOUR amusment, not playing a 'joke'.

We used to launch everything in a water balloon launcher, except the water balloons..

nails, nuts & bolts, jelly beans, rocks.... list is pretty long... Mainly at houses, never people.

a combination of hide and seek, and king of the hill
1* when a new kid moves to the neighborhood, you ask a few friends to bring over some old GI joe toys, transfomers, and such,
2* invite the new kid over for afternoon fun-ness
3* teach him how to play "snatch it and grab it" where in
4* all except one person "hides", the one left is "it", he guards a "base", the base being a
5* box large enough to hold the various toys, but only one at a time
6* explain that whoever makes it to the "base" first and grabs the toy gets to keep the toy
7* after a number of rounds predetermined by you and your old neighbors, make fake runs for it, but allow the new kid to reach the box uninhibited, "it" may need to fake an injury if there is no one to distract him while the new kid runs to the box to "snatch it and grab it" only to find that
8* there is no toy and his hands are now covered in dogshit
