yeah, i apply what i used to do in the military into the game, and do what i couldn't do in real life in the game i.e. plant c4 on a truck and suicide bomb... but on the no side because atleast EA/Dice could have gotten some of the stuff half right in the game (USMC doens't use the M95.. that kinda crap but thats another thread)

MOS: 16-S (Stinger Missle)

I was a Stinger Team Chief with the 2nd Cavalry Regiment based in Germany.

We were responsible for patrolling the border along what was then Czechoslovakia and I was there when the Eastern Block fell.

We were also the leading force into Southern Iraq during Desert Storm.

Every man has to serve for 8months here in Austria (if healthy) or do some community-service
Dredgerdriver in a pioneer-barracks

1st month: basic training, drilling, weapontraining and shooting and so on
2nd month: driving license for trucks with trailer
3rd month: driving license for dredger
4-8 month: sleeping on a couch waiting for further instructions and a bit of dredging and helping those pioneers.

Well, not that much interesting, compared to S3v3N's time in the army.

Im a military brat. Does that count? My dad is still serving in the USAF until 2007, for 22 years. He served in Desert Shield / Desert Storm when i was 2.

Love it, its even better since I can die in the game and respawn in 15 sec. In real life my respawn time is a little longer if I die and I don't get to choose the spawn point, they always stick me back at the uncappable and in real life they never let me fly, they said something about admin (officers) only in jets but I do like that in real life there is no language filter bc I would have been kicked and banned ALOT for everything I say

2A6X3 - Aircrew Egress Systems - I currently work on the ejection sysems for F-16, and I can also work on F-15, F-22, F-117, A-10, B-52, B-1, B-2, and U-2.

Deployed to Balad AB, Iraq in 2005...lots of fun.

Biggest difference I've noticed is bombing. Granted I'm just a maintainer in real life and don't actually get to fly the real jets, but I know that the avionics in any of the above listed aircraft will automaticly calculate for speed, altitude, and angle of attack and tell you exactly when to "push the button" to hit your target.

Still really like the game and honestly if the jets did that in BF2 it would just make it too easy.
