If anyone might have anything negative to say about Indian Scout it would be me. But I'm not gonna. I have spoken with him and frankly.........I feel sorry for him.
To me he seems like a tortured soul that was swept up by the attention, power, and priveledges that must come from being one of the "social elite" in a gaming community. What he didn't realize is that you cant please everybody all the time and when you team up with a corporation to attempt to control VIDEO GAMERS you are screwed from the beginning.
He, like King Dave, do not see the purpose of competitive games the same way I do. They believe that people should curb themselves and their competitive nature in light of being fair for fear of hurting others feelings. So they start a crusade of sorts.
EA twists that crusade and drive to create "fair play" into a marketing concept to retain existing customers and, more importantly, acquire new customers. New customers by EA's definition are NUBS by gamers definition. The atmosphere that the two parties are trying to create cannot exist. It is based on ONE MILLION people all acting and feeling the same way.
The focus should be on the software and not punishing and governing even the slightes action of every gamer, all the time, in every server just by virtue of the fact that they are ranked. EA should be focusing on punishing its programers and developers to curb them from creating flawed products that go against common sense and competitive human nature.
PS....If you want to be a "playa hata" focus on the BF NAZIS. The volunteers under Indian and Dave who have the drive to control you and snitch on you without the responsibilities that they have been relagated by the corporation that sells us our software. I have met a number of these and have detected a group of ego-driven idiots that beg to be kidnapped.

So lemme get this straight. Indianscout is the most popular BFROE player? Is that why you guys hate him or
is it because hes known as a dick-head? I dont know the guy but soudns like the guy id wanna shoot. Especially is he abuses his power ( if he has any) I just checked his stats and hes a private?!?! Who the hell gave him ROE?!?!

My points subsequent to that are this. IF he has such an issue with the present incarnation of the BFROE and if it were different than his original version, he would not identify himself as the author of it as it would no longer be his document. Secondly, his handle is BFROE|IndianScout. Now, this is his voluntary handle. I could see maybe mandating this handle in his forums and even in game, but this is then the handle he chose for this forum. This furthers the notion that he fully supports, recommends, and is the incarnation of the BFROE.
I paid $50, then $30, then $10 more. I'll play the game how I see fit.
