no STarship Troopers 1 & 2 suckd The series was Roughencks its was a CG animated Series
Starship Troopers 1 & 2 were full lengh movies the series was on the sifi chanel and was 30 min long

All I want to say is Please read the book. It is so much better than the 2 movies. though the first movie is a bit of fun...

The Starship Troopers thing was pathetic. The acting sucked, the only cool thing was the wounds inflicted by the bugs.

Both are very good reads and are similar in military aspects though not story.
Armor was written before Starship Troopers BTW.

Sorry, but Armor came after Starship Troopers.
Starship Troopers was published in 1960, partly as a result of Heinlein's experience in WWII.
Armor was first published in 1984, partly as a result of the Steakley's experiences in Vietnam.

Starship Troopers (the movies) were like the Major League series. Both series shouldn't have gone past the first one. Starship Troopers 2 sucked balls just like Major League 2 & 3 sucked balls. I'm sure there are plenty of other movie series that shouldn't have gone past the first.

I saw the first movie resently, It wasnt that bad really.
Altough the fact they need 4 man to kill 1 bug in the beginning and at the end of the movie that black guy takes down maybe 30 on his own.
