This is a question that has been burning in my mind lately, How old is too old to be playing games like bf2? I know there are people older than me playing, but I wonder if this has ever crossed their mind. I'm ONLY 30(I know every teenager is thinking that is old as dirt, but trust me it isn't so bad) and alot of my buddies still do this kind of thing, but really when should you start to give it up.
never to old, playing games is a stress reliever and it creats fun.
around 40?
or the complete opposite for some of those freaks out there...ddenholm67 wrote:

you should give up when your fingers are too fat and arthritic to play. Or you are too senile to understand the game play. Or your reflexes and hand-eye coordination are no match for the intensity of the game. THEN and only then are you allowed to quit. Seriously, though, you can be as old as you want. Video games (especially these type) were not made for a single age bracket, they are made for everyone.
well, the new patch is definately not a stress reliever and does not give fun, i should have added that. and yes, there is some backwards freaks out there lol.
im 32 i aint stopping.
When u stop, your too old.

Why should there be an age when someone quits gaming if it is fun and relieves stress (as mentioned above)? Granted, those of us who are older react more slowly and will not do as well as you younger guns... but why should we not play? If nothing, we are easier targets for ya!
I'm 48.... and enjoying the clan I am in and this game (even WITH all the frustrations EA/DICE bring us!!)...

Well I don't think there is a certain age where I would say you're too old. My dad plays and he will turn 50 in a few weeks. He mainly plays at night after my mom goes to bed. He just plays for like a few hours every week, nothing too serious. I would say if you play a lot you probably should cut it down to like an hour a day. Leave the 6 hour days to the teenagers (those with no life).
My dad is like 56 years old and he plays BF2 all the time.

My dad plays BF2 too, and he's the best AT guy I've ever seen.
He's ranked around 500 with the AT rocket too.

Get off my tank! You youngsters have no idea how good you got it! Back when **I** was playing first person shooters all you had were rocks, and pointed sticks! We didn;t have little digital shoes to pound through the digital snow, up digital hills!
Sheesh - you with your heliocopters!

There is no such thing as too old. I will be in a wheel chair, with a text to voice program running so I can communicate, and I'll still program voice action identification in the game I'll be playing. I'm never gonna stop. ;-)
If I were old and retired I would play battlefield all day long every day assuming my wife loses her memory so much that she doesn't remember me playing all day every day.
definitely 70. i mean come on.. who wants to see a MEC/USMC/PLA player that has to look between the stearing wheel of the vodnik/humvee and drives 10 mph down the street?
I remember when Quake came out.. rushed to the local store to get it.. man that was some hot shit.
