As i sit here eating my lightly burnt taost, which is smothered in butter, I think about the toast which i have just set aflame. I wonder who likes their toast burnt black, lightly burnt, or not burnt at all. It bothers me that i had to throw out 4 pieces of perfectly good, burnt black bread. I also wonder wether i should have donated them to charity or a food shelter because it seemed to be a waste of bread. I'm saddened by my loss/the world's loss. So how do you like your toast?

Ya gotta get it light brown and crispy so the jelly applicating knife won't smush the bread but not so brown that it breaks apart like a dry leaf. Many don't realize that toastmaking is a science and takes skills :-D
I prefer my toast dipped in eggs and then pan fried.

I like to use my favorite slightly brown and crispy toast to make a triple decker PB&J; the middle slice is covered with peanut butter on both sides while the outer slices have jelly on them. Mmmm... Mmmm... good!

the degree of toastedness in MY opinion would depend on wether or not its a toasted sandwich or just good old im lazy and bread is a meal kinda toast... sandwiches i feel should be less toasted so they dont hurt the roof of your mouth... but thats just my crazy ass opinion... mmmm toast

mmm, toast. The only problem with toast is the damned crumbs that get onto the table/surface of where you're eating, no matter how hard you try to eat over a plate or something. No matter, because toast owns everything.
