complacent, ignorant citizens who don't give a damn about much.
we're pushovers in trade agreements when we have all the goods.
we're still in Afghanistan and nothing much is being concluded there.

whats wrong with good ol tony.
So I'm a contractor, right?
I'm bidding a state run high school project one time and the general contractor says to me " I'll tell you where you need to be if you put 10% in for me."
This company does all kinds of government work, and you know what I've learned; Thats how it's done.
He takes kick backs from the subcontractors, he gives kickbacks to the school superintendent who sees that this general contractor gets the work and pays bribes to inspectors to speed things along. The cost for government projects is 4-6 times the private sector because not only is payoffs and kickbacks part of the budget, but the state regulates how much the workers get paid ( called prevailing wage ) and its usually at least double any private sector tradesmen. It's very easy to bid LOTS of extra labor in a job.
Politicians do it in a more grotesque way as they are blatantly selling our borders, laws and rights to the highest bidder. And paying the bribes and kickbacks they pay with tax dollar money.
Although I have been a unrelenting defender of our troops and their mission in Iraq you can bet the fox is in the hen house and the U.S. taxpayers are getting butt raped without lube. What I have seen is just the shadow of the tip of the iceberg and I see no viable recourse but revolution as corruption runs so deep and is so a part of our day to day life that it will take a complete overhaul of our monetary and political systems.
We are being overrun by illegal aliens ( broken arrow! broken arrow! ), entangled in ill-defined foreign wars and there are a large number of people in America who are rabidly socialist and Marxist. No wonder they want to take our guns; we are being set up and herded into a slaughter pen.
I really believe now that America is doomed.

The freeloading Immigrant problem we have.
Don't get me wrong there are a few that come over here and work and do good things like become Doctors and such but the majority just come here to sponge off our all too liberal benefits system.
Some come here illegally but still get to stay, get given free housing, every benefit under the sun and then still try to screw the system by working on the side as well as getting benefit thus screwing the exact same institution that welcomed them and clothes and feeds them.
It's getting to be a real bone of contention here, and whats worse is that some of these Immigrants have gone on to become part of radical terrorist groups that plot attrocities against the very country that gave them safe haven.

FUCKING IMMIGRANTS! (no offence to any one that is and immigrant) but it is a real problem. I live in AUstralia, and we are supposed to have a diverse culture. But it's to diverse and that create problems. When you walk down the street and don't hear a word of english for 3 blocks somthing is wrong. At school 1/3 is asian, 1/3 is *** and man, so many gangs.
Enough said.Spumantiii wrote:

Obesity its killing 300 thousand people a year in U.S. alone so that's an epidemic. Within the United States, 64.5 percent of Americans are either overweight or obese, with the number growing.

People Blaming Canada for EVERYTHING.. Somehow, its always our fault..
One kid even tried to convince me that Hurricane Katrina was Canadas Fault..

Göran Persson and his trusty followers. Running errands for the US and otherwise acting lap-dog. Such as the helping the CIA "retrieving" two Egyptian citizens for questioning in Egypt, which was a violation against human rights. Also the closing of TPB (The Pirate Bay) out of fear from sanctions of some kind, violating freedom of speech and attemting to enforce US law on Swedish soil. Plus he doesn't seem to be aware of the unemployment amongst the younger generation and its many consequences such as the sudden increase of support for the immigrant-hostile political parties.
I hate our old prime minister, he is a priest and talking about peace and shit all the time and he is getting a LOT of money for his "peace center" every day! He is screwing around with our money!

Would definitely agree that this is the most impacting highlight of yours, and would also take this position.Spumantiii wrote:

I think the most serious problem in any country is the false preception people of other countries have of them. It breeds predudice and ignorance. My country , U.S., has the same issues as any other but not as bad as some - But thats for us to judge and work-on. It's not for others to make opinions of from a distance and the same goes for me to not make judgements of your country.
God bless and may we all figure it out before we wipe ourselves off the face of this planet,
Kaboom.

who cares if our military sucks... does canada need a huge military and if so what for? are we goin to war with Denmark for those little islands up north??? give your head a shake and wake upBornToKill67 wrote:

It shows my country as USA, its not. My country is the Phillipines. The biggest problem is that the govt takes all the money and spends it on shit. While most people there have little or no money. Or just plain homeless.
We don't need a HUGE military but we need an actual military not just a few guys with P.O.S guns so that we could defend ourself if we were attacked. It shows that we're not a country that will let others push us around. Our military is something pretty sad IMO.SuperSlowYo wrote:
