I created a new account so that my son could play. Problem is that when he tries to play in a server with AF maps it says he doesnt have the AF pack. We both use the same computer, I can however play those maps under my name. What do I need to do to get my comp to see the expansion pack under his sn?

First of all I don't have EF or AF, so I am only speculating...
I think I read that EF could only be assigned to one account at a time. I would guess this is the same with AF.
Who's account did you install the game on? Yours?

He is right, one account at a time. You can open up the downloader and change your gamespy I.D. to his but there might be a limit on how many times you can change it per week ( not sure if EA is still doing that though). If he is new to the game I bet he will be fine with the Vanilla maps for a while.

Yup. The gamespy ID is assigned to one account.
Wait only GAMESPY??? You can't change it if it was just an account from EA?
Your gamespy and EA account are "synonymous" AFAIK. Change one and you change the other aswell. It doesn't matter if you change the AF/EF useranem in gamespy or with the EA downloader. However, aFAIK the original limit on the number of changes will still apply.BlackLegion42 wrote:

on the EA downloader there should be a button or link that says something to effect of "Change Gamespy ID"

That sucks. It sounds like you can't make them match up. If that's the case you probably need to take to EA directly.BulettRiddled wrote:

Your doing something wrong...
You just need to enter your sons BF2 ID (wich is his account name that he logs into BF2 with) into the EA Downloader area after you highlight the games and click on "Edit Battlefield 2 Nickname"...

I dont get why the ea account and the downloader account cant match. I suppose that could be the issue. If you have any ideas please share. I have emailed ea so i will see what they say.
Why not just make him mow the lawn or something for 10$ ?
