There's a good documentary I've seen a few times (Children of the Closed State I believe). It was a bit eery watching it while I was in South Korea. It mainly focuses on the orphans but goes into accounts of cannabalism and secret camps. Reminded me of The Killing Fields.
Too bad they're too broke to even train their military in modern combat. Iraq had better equipment during the Gulf War. NK's spec ops and chemical weapons are the only real worry.Citizen One wrote:
North Korea has a professional army, it's not like dealing with some rowdy insurgency with rpgs, this is the real deal with big guns and artillery, so before you invade a country like that, things have to be planned.
