what power scope is it?

anything over 4 would be a bit of a waste on an ak as the casing is shorter than a 7.62 nato round.

39 mm long i think? looks sweat though.

Romanian AK-47 neutered for US specs, soon to be re-balled cause of a pending class 3 FFL. You are correct about a different bolt, however, my ak, is not a SVD .. (yet) but the barrel is chromium lined (no barrel is "chromed" like a freaking bumper), and it is a 7.62mm x 39mm, no 5.56mm here.... not on this rifle anyway.

If you don't like the scope / bi-pod / buffer recoil pad / trigger job / finish of the wood / muzzle break / butt stock pad / 30rnd mags, Un-Subscribe to the thread, don't look at it, TS... how about that.. k thanks. There will be more mods to follow... when i get bored again, and maybe i will start posting the rest of the collection as cougar has seen it fit to put my personal hobby on the web.. gee thanx cougar (grrrrr)....

Scope is a 6 x 24 with a 50mm forward objective. It is fun, and if i really wanted to reach out and touch someone, it would not be with this M82a1 if you don't know what it is .... www.google.com enter the model # in. If you think that is a waist... just tell that to the snipers ....

You don't have shooting ranges in your area, be they indoor or outdoor. At these places, you can usually rent out some guns. Don't start with pistols though. If you don't have the grip strength to handle the recoil, you won't hit anything even 10m away. Start off with the the 22 cal pea-shooter long rifles. No recoil and fair accuracy. Then try out the shotguns with clay targets. From here on, work your way up the calibers.

Also, when you do get to shotguns... don't try to go right for a 12ga or 10ga... start with a 410... your shoulder will thank me, and you.
