So what? There's a million people in Spain called Jesus, it's a name! There were probably hundreds of people called Jesus around at the time of the Bible being written. You might as well have said that you can prove the exsistence of the prophet Muhhamed because there is evidence that someone called 'Muhhamed' was alive 2000 years ago.......dubbs wrote:

yep the reason that many ppl in spain are called jesus (pronounced he-zus) is that they want their child to be named after jesus christ kinda like the name maria for mary=OBS= EstebanRey wrote:

I thought that was sarcasm.KEN-JENNINGS wrote:
A white christian artist? Did he live 2000 years ago to see Jesus? You are delirious. Why would Jesus look totally different from all the other people who lived in that region at the time? What the hell is sciencism? Use some common sense before you tell me I am wrong. Jesus was not a pale skinned, blue-eyed, blonde haired guy in a region where everyone had dark skin and dark features. Don't be ignorant my friend.spastic bullet wrote:
Whatever, guy. I think a white Christian artist would know better than teh Discovery Channel. LOL. Another example of sciencism gone too far...
sorry had you mixed up with guy a post or two above you. it happens.KEN-JENNINGS wrote:
Give what a rest? What are you saying? Read my post, nowhere did I say Jesus did not live. Please read and use critical thinking before you accuse me of something I did not say or do. Thanks!

I don't think it was Subterfuge inspired by the Bush Family and " The Skull and Bones Crowd ".cyborg_ninja-117 wrote:
jesus was indeed middle eastern... its just the famous painters like leonardo da vinci and a few others "europeanized" jesus. jesus was real, even the muslims know that. they just believe jesus was just a prophet and not the son of god.
People saw him do miracles and he fulfilled all the prophecies about him in the old testament. Its FACT that the prophecies were written before he was born. Some were written hundreds of years before he was born. And he rose from the dead 3 days after he died, not many Jesus' do that. This is based on historical facts and eye-witness accounts written in a proven historically accurate book.=OBS= EstebanRey wrote:

so then did jimmy hoffa (spelling?) really exist?Erkut.hv wrote:
Nobody knows where he was buried (allegedly)
Spelling is okay. There are photos and birth records of Hoffa, so there is significant evidence of his existence. it was a good try, but I was referring more to historical beings, and the ability to prove their existence.THA wrote:

1. Prophecies are up to interpretation. ie. "i will die by the hand of man." Does this mean I will die by someone suffocating me with his hands or die by the cancer that the asbestos in the walls gave me, the asbestos that was put there by man's hands?. Two different deaths, one prophecy.JaMDuDe wrote:

All i can say is WOW!!!! that is probably some of the best proof ever... im totally convinced nowJaMDuDe wrote:
Havazn, the prophecies are too detailed to have so many possible meanings they would have to come true. Show me how 3 of these http://christiananswers.net/dictionary/ … ecies.html could have so many meanings that theyd have to come true sometime.
Its been provin that most of the people and places are real. The historical writings in the bible are very accurate.
Again, all this shows me is that someone read the prophecy and rewrote is occurances. What I am looking for is the facts that SUPPORT these occurances actually happened.JaMDuDe wrote:
