wouldn't everyone be better off if EA included numbered tickets like at a deli counter? now serving, #96. yes, i'll have a J10 to go please. or how about turning off FF if you are inside the radius of a spawning vehicle and if you are the first in that spawning radius you are the first to take the vehicle similar to how capping flags work. if you are the first to get inside the flag radius then you get the cap not just the assist.
I see what your saying but it still wouldn't stop people standing on the runway as they do not get the punish point the pilot does. In fact it may mean that every pilot only gets one go in the air before all the planes are grounded for the rest of the round cause no ones allowed to fly.schakl wrote:

They paid the same as you did for the game! they have just as much right to fly as you do! even if they are not scoring! they are just playing the same as you are..
First come first served in my opinion! if you dont like it find another server or take part in the ground battle! or do as i suspect you do as others seem to do.. stand around like a lemon and wait! whilst your team loses the battle..

If people TK for Vehicles in Losers Server.. They are kicked. If someone stands in front of a jet or a tank and dont move. they are kicked.

Yesterday, a new round started for Road Rage. This was the first time I played the map. Everyone spawned and I went towards the hanger waiting for the A-10 to spawn.
Five seconds later I get a SRAW up the ass by a guy who also kills himself in the process.
I say "WTF"
He says "I was here first."
Me: "Um... the round just started. Everyone was there."
Him: "I was five seconds faster."

I was so pissed he didn't just ask. But it was also funny because he tk'd himself as well. Thus, being a good player, I decided to drive an FAV into him and jump out so he gets killed with no punish.

EA doesn't care... like someone pointed out they could make it impossible to tk with vehicle radius. Hell you could even make a script(I think there are some for BF2) to run that automatically banned people that tk'd but guess what? They won't allow it on a ranked server.
Some asian servers actually have scripts like that running, I guess the approved providers there are more allowing or they are running ranked servers while not on an "EA trusted partner" server.

TKing for planes is way out of control. I had been waiting at a hangar for a few min since I saw no planes in the air, and I was the first person there. I'm a strong believer in waiting in line. If someone else was there first, I'd gladly let them have the plane. However, today I was waiting first and this guy comes up and acts like he's going to give it to me, then shortly before it spawns he runs up and starts trying to push me out of the way. Fortunately I got into the plane first, and luckily he didn't stand in my way, but what he did do was throw C4 in front of me and try to blow me up. I told the admins to kick him, yet nothing

after reading this, i started this thread http://forums.bf2s.com/viewtopic.php?id=31051 to make a listing of your ideas how the teamkilling could be stopped/reduced. feel free to make your comments there.
i was sniping in road rage with my m8 at the enemy (US) airbase...three MEC (our team!) were sitting in a jeep with c4 on it they crashed against the tree, where i was lying i got the TKs and got kicked...f00!!!
AF is laughable. You have the huge maps so a vehicle is required where the teamkilling is far more common around the main bases.

But there are other spawn points and different roles to play. Like playing engineer and driving tank or placing mines around some points.. When I have a good round I sometimes get 20 kills alone just on mines.
And personally I feel that the TK'in has decreased lately.. a bit.

I ban for vehicle tk'ing. Admins are kinda in the background watching the server, I like to play as well and sometimes I will load up the console at work and ill ban people for tk'ing for vehicles, c4'ing a hangar, we have ff off to prevent any bullshit but you can still tk assholes.
Standing in front of a jet and getting tk'ed = instaban. And I would think anyone who joins our server is priveleged enough for us to set our server up to remove tk punish, remove friendly fire, and just try to make it as enjoyable as possible. I mean I work and pay for that server along with 30-40 other people so you can get your ribbons and your points. And you would think people would at least try to be respectful in our server.

i love it when people line up for the jets, means there s less on the ground fighting me, and to drop arty on the people waiting, just makes it even sweeter, TK all you want, it just affects the ticket count.

To be honest i cant stand seeing people standing around waiting for a jet, If its just the one then fine, probley just got shot down and waiting for the jet to spawn but when you have people Q'ing up! come on get a jeep and get a flag its all about the tickets for the win!! get in and fight for your team!!

What really kills me is the people who want others kicked for base raping so they can spend the whole round waiting for a good pilot to get shot down so they can tk for the jet... that pisses me the fuck off.
